Terms
Effective from 3 November 2026
1. General
1.1 These terms govern contracts for 3D printing, including QR plates and stands, and contracts for custom builds, that is the design and making of devices to order (together the "order"), concluded by QuantixAI s. r. o., registered office Svätoplukova 1213/15, 903 01 Senec, company ID (IČO) 57306290, tax ID (DIČ) 2122660771, VAT ID SK2122660771, registered: Obchodný register Mestského súdu Bratislava III, oddiel Sro, vložka č. 193393/B ("we"), with a customer following an inquiry through kutilnica.com. Contact: info@kutilnica.com.
1.2 We print and build only for businesses and legal entities (the "customer"). By accepting an offer, the customer confirms that the order is placed in the course of its business. Consumer protection law does not apply to these contracts.
1.3 Anything we agree with the customer in writing, including by email, takes precedence over these terms. Matters covered by neither are governed by the Slovak Commercial Code (Obchodný zákonník).
1.4 The customer's own terms apply only if we accept them in writing.
2. Inquiry, offer and contract
2.1 An inquiry sent through the form is not binding. Prices from the calculator are indicative.
2.2 We reply to an inquiry with an offer by email. The offer states the description and number of pieces, material and color, price excluding VAT, shipping method and price, and the expected delivery time. For items with text, a logo or a QR code, the offer includes a preview. The offer is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise. For a custom build the offer contains the specification under 9.1.
2.3 The contract is concluded when the customer accepts the offer by email. Accepting the offer also approves the preview. We then send a proforma invoice.
3. Price and payment
3.1 Prices are in euros excluding VAT. VAT is added as required by law. Customers from another EU member state with a valid VAT ID, which we check in VIES, are invoiced for a VAT exempt intra-community supply.
3.2 The minimum order value is €15 excluding VAT.
3.3 For 3D printing: if the price of the items is €100 or less excluding VAT, the customer pays it in full in advance. Above that, the customer pays a deposit of 50 % of the price in advance and the rest on delivery: cash on delivery with Packeta, or before handover for personal pickup. The advance payment is made by bank transfer against a proforma invoice due within 14 days. The proforma carries a PAY by square QR code.
3.4 We start production once the advance payment has reached our account. If the customer does not pay it by the due date, the contract lapses and neither party has any claim against the other. We hand over the items only once the full price is paid; Packeta releases a cash on delivery parcel only after payment.
3.5 On delivery we issue an invoice that settles the payment received and states any balance due. Invoices are issued and delivered electronically: to Slovak VAT payers over the Peppol network as required by the Slovak VAT Act, to other customers by email. The customer agrees to electronic invoices.
4. Customer materials
4.1 The customer is responsible for the content of its materials: files, texts, logos, links and the content of QR codes. We produce a QR code exactly as in the approved preview and are not liable for a wrong or broken link in an approved preview. We recommend scanning the QR code in the preview with a phone before accepting the offer.
4.2 The customer declares that it has the right to use its materials, in particular logos and trademarks. If this is not true, the customer compensates us for any damage this causes us.
4.3 We may refuse an order whose content is unlawful or offensive.
4.4 We use the materials only to fulfil the order.
5. Production and properties of 3D printing
5.1 The delivery time is stated in the offer and runs from the day the payment reaches our account. For 1 to 2 pieces it is usually 3–5 working days, for more pieces or more complex models 7–10 working days. If it takes longer, we let you know without undue delay.
5.2 We print with FDM technology. Visible layers, small marks from supports, dimensional deviation up to 0.3 mm and slight color differences between production batches or compared with a screen are properties of the technology, not defects.
6. Shipping and receipt
6.1 We ship with Packeta to a pickup point, a Z-BOX or an address. By arrangement, the customer can collect the items in person in Senec.
6.2 The shipping price is stated in the offer and paid by the customer. If the value of the items, excluding VAT and shipping, exceeds €50, we pay for shipping to Slovakia and Czechia.
6.3 The risk of damage passes to the customer when the parcel is handed to the carrier, or on collection in person. If a parcel is damaged or lost in transit, we make the claim with the carrier and reprint the damaged pieces or refund their price.
6.4 The customer checks the parcel on receipt and reports visible damage to the packaging or the items within 2 working days of receipt, with photos.
6.5 If the customer does not collect a parcel or does not pay the cash on delivery amount and the parcel comes back to us, the customer pays for sending it again. Items for personal pickup are collected within 30 days of our notice that they are ready.
6.6 If the customer neither takes over nor pays for the items within 30 days of our request, we may withdraw from the contract. In that case we keep the deposit paid to cover the cost of production and shipping.
7. Defects and complaints
7.1 The customer inspects the items without undue delay after receipt and reports obvious defects by email to info@kutilnica.com within 7 days of receipt, with a description and photos. Hidden defects are reported without undue delay after they are found, at the latest within 1 year of receipt.
7.2 We are liable for defects the items had on receipt. We give no quality guarantee, except the guarantee on custom-built devices under 9.7 or one the offer states explicitly.
7.3 Defects are in particular: layers separating, an item cracked or broken on receipt, a material, color, size or number of pieces other than agreed, and a QR code, text or logo that does not match the approved preview.
7.4 Not defects: the properties in 5.2, errors in an approved preview or in the customer's materials, normal wear, and damage arising after receipt from use, wrong handling or unsuitable conditions, such as high temperature, long exposure to direct sunlight, chemicals or mechanical overload.
7.5 For a justified complaint we reprint the defective pieces or give a reasonable discount, at our choice. If neither is possible, we refund the price of the defective pieces. We pay the shipping for justified complaints. We settle a complaint within 30 days of receiving it.
7.6 We are liable for damage we could foresee when the contract was concluded (§ 379 of the Commercial Code).
8. Cancellation
8.1 Before paying the proforma, the customer may cancel the order by email free of charge.
8.2 After payment, the customer may cancel the order by email. Within 14 days we refund the proportional part of the price for the pieces not yet produced when the email reached us, and the shipping price if the parcel has not been sent. Pieces already produced are paid for and we deliver them to the customer.
8.3 If the customer has paid only the deposit, we set it off against the price of the pieces produced and the shipping. We refund any overpayment within 14 days; the customer pays any shortfall on delivery of the pieces produced.
8.4 If we cannot fulfil an order, we let you know without undue delay and refund the payment in full.
8.5 For custom builds, 9.6 applies instead of 8.1 to 8.3.
9. Custom builds
9.1 For a custom build we design and build a device to the customer's requirements, including the enclosure, electronics and firmware. The offer contains the specification: the purpose and functions of the device, what we hand over (for example the device, instructions, a prototype), the price excluding VAT and the expected schedule.
9.2 The customer pays a deposit of 50 % of the price in advance against a proforma invoice due within 14 days. We start the design once the deposit has reached our account. The rest of the price is paid before handover, or cash on delivery when shipped. Section 3.3 does not apply to custom builds.
9.3 During the design we send the customer regular updates. Changes to the requirements beyond the specification may change the price and the schedule; we make them once the customer approves the new price and schedule by email.
9.4 If the offer includes a prototype, the customer reviews it and, within 14 days of handover, approves it or tells us by email how it differs from the specification. We fix such differences within the price. By approving the prototype the customer confirms its properties for production.
9.5 Dates in the schedule are estimates, as development can bring unforeseen problems. If a date moves, we let the customer know without undue delay, with the reason and the new date.
9.6 The customer may cancel the contract by email at any time. The deposit paid covers the work and material spent until the email reached us; if they cost less than the deposit, we refund the difference within 14 days. On request we hand over the unfinished device or prototype.
9.7 We give a 12-month quality guarantee on the device from handover: during it the device will work according to the specification. The guarantee does not cover normal wear, batteries and consumables, or damage from misuse, water, overvoltage, repairs or firmware changes by someone else, or use contrary to the instructions or the specification. We remedy a defect under guarantee by repair or by replacing a part; if that is not possible, we give a reasonable discount or refund the price. Otherwise section 7 applies.
9.8 The device becomes the customer's property once the full price is paid. The design (3D models, schematics, circuit boards) and the firmware remain ours, including copyright. The customer may use, repair and resell the device and the firmware in it without restriction. We hand over source files only by agreement, at the price stated in the offer. We may reuse parts of the design in other work; information the customer gives us as confidential is neither used nor published.
9.9 We may show the finished device among our projects on kutilnica.com unless the customer asks us not to.
10. Personal data
10.1 We process personal data as described on the Privacy policy page.
11. Final provisions
11.1 Contracts are governed by Slovak law, in particular the Commercial Code. Disputes are decided by the competent court of the Slovak Republic.
11.2 A contract is governed by the terms in force on the day it is concluded. We publish changes on this page; they do not affect contracts already concluded.
11.3 These terms exist in Slovak and English. If they differ, the Slovak version prevails.
